With a sturdy, braced wood composite enclosure, the TS315S subwoofer is designed to deliver powerful and clear low-frequency performance. The rugged, long-excursion woofer is mounted in a solidly braced ported enclosure, which is computer-optimized to maximize its impact. Unlike conventional enclosures with thin metal or plastic walls that dissipate the driver’s energy as cabinet vibration, the dense wood composite material of the TS315S has virtually perfect acoustic characteristics, ensuring that the subwoofer’s output is always impactful and free of resonance.

The Perfect Match

A subwoofer’s contribution to an ideal speaker system is not limited to strong and clear output alone. Seamless integration with the companion speaker is equally important, and the TS315S by Alto Professional excels in this regard. With six selectable DSP output modes, the subwoofer’s frequency response and crossover frequency can be perfectly matched to the speaker it is being used with. Among the six output options, four are designed to match the TS2 and TS3 full-range speakers by Alto, while the remaining two options (Hi-Pass or Bypass mode) ensure a perfect match even with non-Alto full-range speakers. This makes the TS315S a truly versatile and reliable addition to any speaker system.

Our state-of-the-art computer design techniques, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), allow us to optimize the magnetic structure of our speakers and maintain a tight voice coil gap for maximum sensitivity. With extremely tight windings, our voice coils ensure the input signal is fully utilized, and our adhesives exhibit exceptional consistency and durability even under high temperature conditions, ensuring unparalleled system reliability. The TS315S is equipped with an onboard 2000-watt amplifier (1000 watts continuous) featuring proprietary limiting circuitry that provides electronic clip, thermal, and transducer overload protection, ensuring clean and clear sound even when pushed to the limit.
