Using an intelligent algorithm, it generates over 110,000 chord combinations that are musically compatible and ready to use. Complete Arrangement Control

Featuring eight tracks, sixteen patterns, and 128 sequencing steps, the Chordcat gives you complete control over your arrangements. Each track can be layered with instruments such as drums, bass, and synths, and in addition, pattern chaining allows seamless transitions between sections. Whether you’re sketching ideas or building a full song, this workflow therefore keeps creativity flowing naturally.

With three built-in effects—Arpeggiator, Delay, and Ducker—you can shape and manipulate sound directly using the intuitive XY pad. The Running Direction feature lets you reverse or re-route sequence playback with one button, unlocking new grooves and rhythmic variations across genres.

Sound customization is simple thanks to 145 sound presets and 16 drum kits designed for multiple styles. Fine-tune your tone with a low-pass filter and amp envelope for dynamic phrasing. These parameters can be automated per pattern, allowing evolving textures and energy across each track.

Setting a key and scale on the AlphaTheta Chordcat ensures that only harmonically compatible notes appear on the keyboard. LED indicators guide you in Chord Play or Chord Cruiser modes, and as a result, they make it easy for both beginners and experienced producers to stay in key while composing.
