Turbosound IQ18B: Superior Bass Performance
The Turbosound IQ18B subwoofer delivers 3,000 Watts of power, making it ideal for any application requiring robust bass. Its high-excursion 18" low-frequency driver with double suspension and low mass 4" voice coil ensures fast, accurate transient response, providing virtually distortion-free operation even in demanding performances.
The advanced Klark Teknik DSP offers dynamic EQ and transparent limiting for enhanced punch and definition at high output levels, ensuring long-term reliability. The IQ18B also features DSP speaker modeling presets, which include detailed and accurate models of the industry’s most-respected speaker systems.
On the rear panel, the user-friendly interface includes an LCD display, Channel A/B gain control, and a single rotary encoder for intuitive access to level, EQ, speaker modeling, and feedback control. The combination balanced XLR/jack inputs and balanced XLR outputs for powered satellite loudspeakers, along with the mic/line switch and level control with signal present LED, make setup straightforward and efficient.
ULTRANET technology allows the use of CAT5 cables for pristine multi-channel audio signal transmission, eliminating RFI and crosstalk and significantly reducing setup time. An onboard USB port provides access for remote control of the IQ18B via a PC and allows for DSP and speaker modeling firmware updates.
The birch plywood enclosure is finished in a hard-wearing semi-matt black paint and features a rugged powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille, a 35 mm pole mount to support a satellite speaker, and plated steel castors with rubber tires for easy transport. The mains power input and link output are provided via Neutrik powerCON connectors.
